Chi Omega

  • Gamma Beta Chapter, UCLA

Founded in 1923, The UCLA Chapter of Chi Omega is the oldest sorority on campus. Chi Omega is also the largest sorority in the U.S. with over 270,000 members. UCLA Chi O's are overwhelmingly involved in campus activities such as Dance Marathon, Spring Sing, the UCLA cheer squad, the lacrosse and rowing teams, Bruin Woods, and many other activities. Our annual philanthropic tradition, a Tug-of-War competition, raised over $4000 in 2003 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. When it comes to sisterhood, Chi Omega is proud to have a strong, supportive network of girls who really care about each other. Not only do we spend time with each other socially, but we are there for each other through all of life’s ups and downs. Our mix of enthusiasm, intelligence, and leadership make for an exciting four years of college. Great friendships begin at Chi Omega, and last a lifetime.
